Just in case you don’t check your email or I missed you 😉

🖐 Hello Parents & Children’s Ministry Volunteers!

It’s been a while…oh how we’ve missed you and your kiddos so much.

We are planning to REOPEN Children’s Ministry on Sunday, July 19 for the 11:00 service and every Sunday after that. Nursery & Preschool/Elementary (combined).

In order to start this process, we need your help! First, we need parents to volunteer to fill the gap (one Sunday per month). Some of our regular volunteers are not ready to gather together just yet. Second, we are asking parents, to let us know via email or message me if you plan to bring your kids to church. Please contact me by Wednesday of each week to reserve your child’s spot, we want to make sure we have enough volunteers every Sunday.

We are diligently praying through this process. Our hearts are ready to serve and do what is necessary to safely welcome our kids back to church. (Let everything you do be done in love [motivated and inspired by God’s love for us]. 1 Corinthians 16:14)

Here are a few things you and your kids can expect:

*Children’s Ministry volunteers will SPORT face masks (maybe even make it a competition? You know how kids love competitions!) 🙂

*Children are not required to wear face masks, this is left up to the parent’s discretion. Parents have the option of sending their children to church in a mask. Note: if the mask falls on the floor we will place it in a bag labeled with your child’s name on it. Miss Shelly will have some extra handmade kid’s masks available at check-in, kids can wear and take home/wash and wear again. (We respect each other’s parenting choices and we will love you and your child either way!)

*Temperature Check at the Door. Let your child know that we will check their temperature (with a touchless thermometer) before entering the gym just to ensure their ‘hearts are on fire for God’ but fever free of 99.9 degrees or lower. (Never let the fire in your heart go out. Keep it alive and serve the Lord. Romans 12:11) 😂

*Sanitize: Our volunteers will wipe down heavily touched surfaces. You are encouraged to help your child wash their hands upon arriving to church. We will invite the kiddos to take a bathroom break at 10:30 to wash hands. Hand sanitizer will be placed by the check-in computer. Volunteers will be mindful of shared equipment or supplies and will take additional steps to sanitize objects or use hand sanitizer before and after. Nursery volunteers will sanitize any toys the babies/toddlers place in their mouths.

*Snacks-to-Go. Kids will be offered individually wrapped snacks at the end of Children’s Ministry to take home.
We are so excited to see your kids’ smiling faces again and we look forward to loving on them and sharing God’s love and truth with them! And of course, having FUN…because Jesus is so much fun!!!

Please email or message me if you can help by volunteering one Sunday per month to fill the gap or if you plan to bring your kiddos to church this Sunday.

May His favor be upon you…your family and your children and their children and their children…
