Grow Groups
From the Sunday Celebration Services to the activities and meetings that take place during the week, there are plenty of opportunities for people at Grace East to meet and interact with each other. But we are concerned with far more than just making acquaintances. If our relationships do not affect us beyond the walls of this church or go deeper than handshakes in the foyer, we are not following the plan of Christ for His Church.
The scriptural obligations we have toward one another (Romans 12:10,16; Colossians 3:16; Hebrews 10:24) and to the world (John 20:21; Matthew 28:18-20, Luke 24:46-48; Acts 1:8) simply cannot be carried out unless we share our lives with others. Because of this, we desire that everyone at Grace East commit themselves to joining a small group that will be a supportive, encouraging, and discipling community, but also a community that will join together to share the gospel with a specific group of people not currently in the group. This is what we call a Grow Group.
Grow Groups are communities of disciples on mission together to know and love God, to love and serve others, and to bring the message of God's hope and grace to people across the street and around the world.
